THE STANDARD
Finishing most makers reserve for bespoke.
Nine pearly stitches per centimetre. Single-needle sleeves. Hand-sewn buttonholes. Flat-felled seams on the inside. Every Emanuel Berg shirt ships with finishing details that most shirtmakers reserve for their highest tier. We call it the Royal finish; we apply it by default.
THE ROYAL FINISH
Nine stitches per centimetre.
Our standard finish: top-quality thread, flat-felled seams on the inside, single-needle sleeves, hand-sewn buttonholes for both function and elegance. Side seams are supported by panels we designed ourselves.
THE HANDMADE FINISH
For those who feel the difference.
With the Handmade finish, every seam is sewn by hand. Choose full handmade — buttonholes included — or semi-handmade, leaving only the buttonholes to the machine. A shirt made this way takes considerably longer to produce, and you feel it in every seam.
THE NEAPOLITAN FINISH
Italian by construction.
Back pleats, forearm pleats, and a soft cuff — distinctive touches from classic southern Italian tailoring. Lighter construction, more motion, the same standards.
THE COLLAR
Collars are architecture.
Spread or button-down. Semi-spread or club. The frame at your throat — and the way you wear the shirt.
THE CUFF
Cuffs are signatures.
Mitered, rounded, French, convertible, or barrel. The small choice at your wrist that tells everyone you noticed.
